Public Notice for Bids: Food Service Management Contract for Mechanicsburg Exempted Village School District 

A mandatory pre-bid meeting and walk thru of the facility shall take place on April 6, 2023 at 1:30pm at the Mechanicsburg Exempted Village School District Cafeteria, 60 High Street, Mechanicsburg, Oh. 43044.

Copies of the RFP (Request for Proposal) may be obtained from the "Owner", Mechanicsburg Exempted Village School District, 60 High Street, Mechanicsburg, OH. 43044, and at the pre-bid meeting on April 6, 2023.  Questions regarding the RFP shall be directed to Mr. Scott Maruniak, CFO / Treasurer, at the address noted above. 

SEALED BIDS will be received at the Office of the Treasurer, Mechanicsburg Exempted Village School District, until 2:00 p.m. local time, April 25, 2023 and will be reviewed using set criteria within the RFP for the

Food Service Management Contract

Proposals must contain the name of every person interested therein and shall be accompanied by a bid bond of 100% of the bid or by a certified check in the amount of not less than 10% of the bid payable to the Treasurer, Mechanicsburg Exempted Village School District. 

All proposals shall be enclosed in a sealed envelope and addressed to the Board of Education, Mechanicsburg Exempted Village School District, 60 High Street, Mechanicsburg, OH. 43044 on the outside of the envelope:

“Proposal for Food Service Management Contract,
Mechanicsburg Exempted Village School District.”

The Board of Education reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids in whole or in part, to waive any informalities in the bids received, and to accept any bid which it deems favorable.  No bidder may withdraw their bid for a period of sixty (60) days after the date set for the bid opening.
