Ava Mayo is the daughter of James and Susie Mayo. Ava will be attending Clark State Community College to pursue a degree in Diagnostic Imaging and enlisting in the Air National Guard. James and Susie said “Ava challenges herself. Knowing she only had one course to complete her senior year, she chose to schedule a full year of courses, on campus, at Clark State Community College. Ava has nearly completed all required prerequisite courses for the diagnostic imaging program at Clark State. During this time she played school sports, works a part time job, is on the Dean’s List, a member of Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society and has been awarded the Trustee Scholarship. Ava has also been meeting with an Air National Guard recruiter in hopes of enlisting once Covid-19 military restrictions are lifted.” We are proud of Ava and wish her the best in her future endeavors.
